How to apply for studies
First of all, the applicants who decided to study at the Technical University of Košice should choose the level of study:
1st level (Bachelor)
2nd level (Master)
3rd level (Doctoral)
Next they choose a study program (expertise) in the section «Study» – «Study programs» on the website. Alternatively, a foreign applicant may visit the University website, which provides detailed information about the study programs:

The selection of study program is related to the selection of faculty. The Technical University of Košice has nine faculties. Faculties are further described in the section – Faculties.
Documents required for the admission procedure are listed in the section «Applicants» – «Admission Procedure».
Then a foreign applicant can directly contact the Vice Dean for Education of the selected faculty.
If you are not an EU citizen, you need visa to study in the Slovak Republic. For more information about the possibilities of legal residence in Slovakia, please visit the section «Practical Information» on this website.
The majority of courses are available only in the Slovak language. We recommend that applicants study in Slovak if they can study the Slovak language and if they completed a certified Slovak language course. Students who wish to study in the Slovak language, but did not attend the Slovak language course, please see the section «Applicants» – «Language Course».
Students who consider spending part of their studies at the Technical University of Košice can undertake studies by means of exchange programs or bilateral agreements on the exchange of students between universities.
