It offers high-quality and modern courses in all three levels of university education.
The faculty is the only technically oriented university in the Prešov region and during its existence it has developed into a leading institution in the field of education, science, and research. Education has moved from blackboards to specialized and modern laboratories, and the attractiveness is constantly increased. Students attend presentations given by representatives of different industrial firms, go for educational excursions to top manufacturing companies in Slovakia as well as abroad. Another strong side of the faculty is the internationalization of education and international cooperation. Students can complete part of their studies abroad through the international projects ERASMUS, the National Scholarship Programme of the Slovak Republic and CEEPUS.
Students of the Faculty of Manufacturing Technologies are offered attractive study programmes connected with practice and can verify their knowledge in practice within the SPICE project (Student Programme of Integrated Company Education. The aim of this is enabling for students to complete at least a three-month internship connected with the development of a final thesis in the company in Slovakia and the Czech Republic.
